I have attended the Graduation Ceremony(MBA) of my elder daughter Sirisha(mother of two daughters)

on 18th may at Carlson School of Management(Minnesota University). The Commencement Speaker

was Sherron Watkins Former Vice President of Enron Corporation and one of the three

Whistle blowers named by "TIME" magazine as their 2002 Persons of the Year

In her speech she talked about speaking up, speaking out when you observe some injustice or

some irregularity that is being committed either in work place or in the community. She said

one has to speak out if one is not sure whether it stands to the TEST of 3 "M"s

The first one is whether you Mentor will approve of the things which you have observed

happening and your conscious says it is not the right thing

The second test is whether you will have the guts to stand up before the Media scrutiny

The third test is if your Mother knows about it whether she will approve it or not.

How simple but effective the Test is.Would you like to adopt this as a way to speak up

and speak out in Future ?
