Very little thought i have given to figure it in my mind who was my Role Model.I used to share with my family members and friends that there are three persons whose impact i feel strongly even now.One is Dr Jaswant M Singh a famous Psychiatrist and a well known trainer who specialized in the theory of Transactional Analysis. The second one was K.R.Venugopal a famous I.A.S officer known for his integrity, honesty whose last posting was with Prime Minister's Office. The third one was N.N.Mahajan who was my Managing Director while i was working in Delhi. He is suave sophisticated and a man with vision.

I came to Minneapolis(U.S.A)on 6th may to be with my elder daughter for some time.On 8th she has to go to Atlanta on official visit and the morning flight was at 5.30 am and she has to leave the house at 4 am.Exactly at 3.45 am i got up without alarm and watched (through my bed room window) my daughter leaving for airport at 4 am in her car.She has returned at 11 pm in the night and i was awake to know and feel comfortable that she has arrived safely. At about 12 in the middle of the night, suddenly i have realized that my father was my role model and the three persons mentioned above are my Mentors. My father did not leave any properties/physical assets to us but taught us values of life and how to take care of people with love and affection. The way he treated us as friends when we children grew up and the way he took care of my mother as they are becoming old are permanently etched in my memory.I have realized that role model in child's psyche will be formed at a young and impressionable age,not after he/she grows up.
