On August 6th 1945,a B-29 bomber carrying Little Boy took off from Tinian Island and detonated a bomb over Hiroshima in Japan obliterating Five Square miles and killing 70,000 and injuring 70,000.On August 9th,another B-29 took off and a bomb was detonated over Nagasaki in Japan obliterating three square miles ,killing 40,000 and injuring 60,000. As a consequence Japan surrendered on on 14th August vitully ending the second world war.
